Shock at Coachella 2025: Man Arrested After Alleged Bomb Threat
What started as a weekend of music and celebration nearly took a dark turn at Coachella 2025. A man from California was arrested over the weekend after allegedly making a bomb threat targeting the world-famous festival.
According to IVP sources, the suspect — identified as 40-year-old Davis Darvish from Santa Monica — approached a security officer at a Southern California casino on Saturday and made an alarming statement about bombing Coachella, where celebrities and music lovers from around the globe had gathered.

Authorities responded swiftly. Within an hour, Darvish was located and detained by the Cathedral City Police Department. A thorough search of his vehicle revealed no explosives, weapons, or bomb-making materials.
Thanks to the quick response of law enforcement, a potential tragedy was avoided — but the unsettling incident has raised concerns about safety at large-scale public events.
IVP will continue to follow this story as it develops.
